If you know me, then you know that I kept up JaySlacks.blogspot.com for a long, long time. But, if you also know me, then you know I’m not afraid to change, and enjoy throwing everything out to make it seem a bit fresher, thus, this new site. Will it be different? Yes. Yes it will. Will it be better? I have no idea. Hold my hand. Let’s find out together.
First, let’s talk. You and I. My name is Jarvis Slacks. I write. I play video games. I talk. I drink. I love. I lose. I hate. I lust. I hold. I like. I sleep. I dream. I eat. I drive. I attempt. Sometimes I fail. Sometimes I don’t. Currently, I’m finishing up my thesis, which is a novel. I’m working on it. Editing it. Hopefully, I’ll get an agent to rep it. And then, who knows? I’m also looking for a teaching job, so I can teach undergraduates what I love most. To write. I’m also trying to lost this beer gut. I don’t think that one is going to happen.
So, lets go and find out a few things. And when we find them out, let’s talk about them. And in between, let’s run yellow lights and curse under our breaths. Man, that sounds like fun.
